(37,127 posts)41. Ilsa, I lost my brother a few years ago -
and know how difficult it is. Like you I moved away, and as with your brother there were issues (very smart but addiction issues). I am actually living in Texas and had to take care of probate in Florida. My brother did manage to keep himself fairly well together and had a good job, but in the end, addiction won out. Three months later our ill mother also passed away. I have a younger sister who helped on my mom's end and that was a tremendous gift. I want you to know that my pm is open if you ever need to talk. I'm very sorry for your loss, and I can also say I absolutely remember Paul in the Texas forum and enjoyed his posts!
