most definitely a psychopath, perhaps worsened by cognitive decline.

But I think the point the author was trying to make is that the label (mentally ill) should not become yet another 'free pass/benefit of the doubt' some are inclined to afford Trump. The kind of distinctions often employed in legal cases involving insanity pleas, for example.

Declining mental acuity or not, Trump knows what he's doing, knows what he wants, and it's PURE EVIL.
