Did Netanyahu talk Trump into going to war with Iran? [View all]

We have heard different versions of that story.

But, in my opinion, Donald Trump voluntarily agreed to attack Iran so that Israel could go into Lebanon and Beirut and try to annihilate Hezbollah and Trump agreed to be the diversion for Netanyahu while he invaded southern Lebanon.

The purpose for Israel was to wipe out Hezbollah.

Trump had no idea of how his attack on Iran would be met? He was surprised when Iran attacked their neighbors who had American bases in their countries. He was further surprised when they blocked the Strait of Hormuz and much of the world's oil supply.

Trump was unable to reach an agreement with Iran mostly because Israel kept attacking in Lebanon. At one time, it was reported that Trump became angry with Netanyahu and lost his temper.

Donald Trump tried to do a favor for Netanyahu and got our country enmeshed in a war where we do not see any easy exit.

It is up to the US Senate to save Trump from his blunder and to try and save some sort of honor for our country. They have no choice but to insist that our troops withdraw from the area, in my opinion.

He has gotten us into one helluva mess.
