(13,273 posts)We will certainly know. The joy, unity, disbelief and euphoria will be like a combination of the Knicks come from behind victory scene last week and the Mens Soccer victory last night. The cheering, chanting of USA will be Welcomed back as a true patriotic come together, not a MAGA rallying cry to install white supremacy as the guiding light to their way out of all the suppression whites have endured for ages hundred years.
Especially seeing the fans after the soccer game dressed in every thing you can put on your body in red, white and blue, with the joy of being an American instead of the official uniform for a Trump kkklan gathering.
And knowing MAGAs are not soccer fans in general, (only one football) last nights celebration gave me a sense of us taking back our colors and celebrating a unity of so many different ethnicities all being represented in those crowds packed in like sardines with one message, Go USA USA USA, not scared to touch a person of another shade. Just a massive happy crowd, consisting of all the
People that make up this country. And the team itself filled with a such a diverse group of Americans from so many nationalities.
When he is dead, WE WILL ALL know it.
And finally we reclaim our colors, our unity, and once again the pride we use to cherish, as one nation, with freedoms we all enjoy, that so many fought and died for, for 250 years, those same patriots that gave all, from every color, from every religion and even those that have no religion.
USA USA USA.
Just my thought, for the first time in a long time, hearing that and seeing that was damn prideful again.
