Algae [View all]

Painting the bottom of the reflecting pool with a darker color warms the water because of
albedo aka reflectivity and new algae will always be introduced into the reflecting pool be-
cause of geese, ducks, gulls, herons, and other birds can carry algal spores and algae
itself can stick on the birds legs and feet and so they can transfer that algae to different
bodies of water. Birds do this all the time by visiting say a local pond or creek and then
visiting a bird bath. The reflecting pool was working just fine and did not need Trump’s
help.

So the choices are drain the reflecting pond and repainting it its original color and then going
back to the original water supply system of I think from the tidal basin by the Jefferson Memorial
passing it through the pumps, filtration systems, chemical treatments, then into the reflecting
pool, and after a period of time putting the old water back into the Potomac as “new water” is
put into the pool or spending money none stop on chemicals to kill the algae.

For the love of DOG America is loaded with county extension agents, water ecologists, academics,
and companies that could have stopped this mess or could clean it up.

The reflecting pool’s problems will continue just like his Iranian War until he admits defeat.

Can Trump just hurry up and expire?
