is that almost all these observations typify Trump throughout his life, at least when he dove in 200% to prove himself to his grandfather. Trying to parse out the dementia and aging effects as somehow the new CAUSE of his self-delusions seems to say he had some redeeming rationality before. He treats reality like a bad debt he can scorn and never repay. Then punish. And the pathological drive is aging out badly as he staggers across the world stage unimpeded. MAGA always believes there is(was) a better Trump, clever, friendly, beset by the really really bad people.
