10. When we moved to the burbs out of Chicago, we got a house across the street from the high school.

There is a huge field in front of the school. People would/will throw blankets on the grass to watch the fireworks from there, which they would launch from the back parking lot entry drive. My parents divorced in late 90 something. Dad died in 2015 . My Mom stayed in the house, and we would always drive out to her to watch the fireworks. Mom passed in August 2018. We watched the fireworks from there one or two more times before we cleared out the house and turned it over to the bank. (My sister had talked her into getting a reverse mortgage.)

Yeah, the fourth doesn't really hold the same meaning without my folks around.
