14. The fact that Bernie spoke with Platner personally about this matters

Many have called for Platner to step aside, few if any of them acknowledge discussing Platner's choice directly with Platner. Bernie was a key supporter for Platner, hearing this directly from Bernie might help Platner come to grips with the dire consequences for Vermont, our nation, and indeed the world, if he insists on still continuing to run.
