Is possible that, if an important bill came up for a vote, McConnell's staff could claim that he had a lucid moment and told them how to cast his vote? Or could the staff claim that he could cast his vote electronically?
I don't know if that's even possible by Senate rules. Just trying to figure out how the Rs might benefit from pretending that he is recovering.
