2. Medicare is an idea worth saving, but don't vote for Jeb even if he changes his tune.

Too much other Bush baggage plus he's a Republican.

But he does have a point about the way it's being run being unsustainable.
Not that I'd look to any Republican for constructive changes.

What we really need is "Medicare for everybody" (that is single payer) instead of the ACA mess and the current Medicare program. Which is approximately what I thought we'd be getting in 2008.

Lots of free countries do that without running out of money.

Tax the rich more aggressively + a less aggressive foreign policy and we can afford it too.
