The DEC must have rented the facility for the day.

I've attended one DEC luncheon event, a looooong, long time ago. It was rubber chicken and the speaker was an Assistant Secretary of State. The room only held about ~2-300 people.

Ford Field? Such arrogance! Why not the Big House in Ann Arbor?

If they open Ford Field to all comers, they'll need to erect a chain link fence in front of the stage (think Blues Brothers) to protect the sheltered one from the barrage of bottles.

BTW, I've got some cans and bottles in the garage, and I'd be tempted to join in any spring training for former pitchers.
