Whenever I go to a march/protest rally I am well prepared. I've been to 5 since the election and each one has its own theme. I emailed #Marchfortruth people to see if they have a general logo and they sent some back to me. I don't know how to send them to you (I'm tech retarded) but you can do it yourself at marchfortuth@gmail.com. There is a logo of the US flag blowing in the wind (close up) and the words March For Truth. I am going to put that on one side of my sign and on the other a giant magnifying glass looking at a Russian stacking doll with the Donald's ugly face, red tie, and crazy/goofy eyeballs. Next to it I will print "Call Congress (202)225-3121 RESIST". Since there is a bill introduced in Congress by Dems we need to get Congress to pass it and the GOP makes that an uphill battle. I don't know if you have been to many protests but I have found many useful ideas that you might like...I always bring a cell phone, pen and paper to share information, water bottle, cash, comfy shoes, spare bags, a map of the location and printed info regarding the march and local organizers, as well as a party noisemaker/horn. This is great and many have borrowed the idea. Since your hands will be busy holding your sign carry a shoulder cross strap bag and the noisemaker serves several purposes. It clears the path so you can get through the crowd easily, you can keep it in your mouth and blow it hands free, it's good to make noise in place of clapping, it's good to encourage others to cheer and honk horns, etc., and it's cheap and light. I also blow up 3 or 4 balloons with ribbon and tie them to my stick under they sign. This time I will use red, white, and blue to go with the flag. I bought plain, white foam core at the art store and a light wooden dowel that I tape onto the foam core with clear packing tape. You can use the dowel and foam core over and over (good, cheap investment) and just buy plain large, white paper and glue it over your old signs from other protests using spray glue or a glue stick. Good luck at your rally! RESIST!
