among other things. There were a couple of guys in my dad's outfit that committed suicide while over there. He had no idea how yellow his skin was until he got home and my grandmother about fainted. And so it went for over three years for him in WWII.

Born in 1923. Died in 2008. He turned 18 ten days before the attack on Pearl Harbor, I told him he should probably never buy lottery tickets with that kind of luck.
