And, then remind him that the last war that was fought over states 'sovereignty' did not go so well for those who felt that they did not have to defer to the federal government.

(By 'some feds', I mean a few hundred. Make sure that pudgy little ham remembers where he is and what can happen to him... yes, even him. Unless the Texas Guard decides to intervene, he will just be hauled away in a SUV like any other lawbreaker. They won't, btw.)
