You have confused the vote for Speaker in 2021 with the vote for Speaker in 2023.

The 2023 election was the one that took 15 ballots, that one that elected "The pride of…BAKERSFIELD!!!!," Kevin McCarthy! He was gone in 8-months after the shortest tenure in 148-years!

I loved watching it! If anyone needed more proof the Republicans were incapable of governing - that was it. And the one 8-months later.
