11. the USA is repositioning their support 'away' from korea

due to the perception that Lee's sunshine policy towards china is a liability. as i mention in a previous post.

Japan and Taiwan remain very important to USA

and when Takaichi stated that if China used military force (such as a naval blockade) against Taiwan, it would pose a critical danger to Japan's existence. that puts Lee in a hard place, he didn't want to commit to either side. and thus sealed his fate.

more bad news today is coming out about Korea not being able to get enough helium due to Qatar cutting productions. watch their semiconductor company taking a hit for awhile.

Japan get their helium from USA, and Taiwan can only get it from Japan or USA. TSMC will not have the same problem.
