1. Not knowing the details of this story, wouldn't Poland hosting the troops be against trump-putin goal?

Yesterday

I thought the whole reason for trump to pull forces out of eastern Europe was to allow putin to continue his land grab - perhaps back to eastern Germany, and perhaps further.
