(2,335 posts)you actually do get it. It's just that the rules of civility and etiquette prevent us from saying it out loud, and we should probably stick with that. We can dance around the edges, but we all know what is going on here. And it won't end until you-know-who gets involved and puts a stop to it. DU'ers have lost untold thousands to this. And who even knows if this is the only place he's posting this same stuff, and all because he doesn't want to work.
I went to a breakfast restaurant a few days back,and our waiter was a younger fella (25-30 maybe?) with what I believe was MS. I've seen him working there for several months now. He struggles quite a bit. But you know what? He got up that day knowing what he was in for, and by God, he did it anyway because all he wants is a life, and he wants to support himself. I can respect the hell out of someone who gets up and does that every day knowing full well they will be swimming upstream the entire way, beginning with things as simple as taking a shower and getting dressed. But he keeps doing that every day instead of begging for money on the internet.
