2. We were in a small town...downtown.

Wonderful childhood...I kind of lived a protective bubble.

Dad died when I was 11, and I started finding out about people at that point. It wasn't known for being a dangerous town particularly, but it could get real dicey at times. I had a period where I fell in with some bad kids.

These days it's pretty bad...a lot of drugs and decay. It's unfortunate. My old neighborhood is nothing like it used to be.
