6. Ellis Island...

...oh, you I got each other's lives, I suppose. My maternal great-grandparents and grandparents came through Ellis Island, and I still haven't been there. I actually thrilled to John Sayles' Brother from Another Planet because of its Ellis Island scene.

And of course my immigrant grandmother was a Golden Age of Hollywood fan. She loved going to the movies with her kids in Depression-era New York.

Anyway, keep watching and posting! And here's to better times!
