Jewelry Making - Amazon Handmade [View all]

I have made jewelry and sold it for many years. I read about the new Amazon category, Handmade, so I applied and was accepted. Don't know if this is good or bad. I'd read about a jewelry maker who was in Amazon's beta program for Handmade and was doing really well selling her products, so I decided to give it a try. I have completed the application process and need to re-photograph my items, then I will ready to go. Does anyone know about this? Don't know if it is a good move or a bad move.

I think this is Amazon's answer to competing with Etsy. I have sold on Etsy and it is easy to use, but I didn't get a lot of extra sales from it and their searches sucked, although they have improved since then.
