S&G's version is calm and meditative. I do like this new version once he gets into the more powerful parts of his vocal range, but if I had only heard the first 20-30 seconds, I'm not sure I would have felt that way.

Perhaps his performing name is apropos, as it did start in a manner that was a bit "disturbing."

Still, a good rendition. That Paul Simon likes/loves it doesn't surprise me... Likely as much honest appraisal as a good chance to take a jab at his long term nemesis, Art Garfunkel--who really owned the song.
