3. This is the first time it's had more than a few single florets after the spring bloom

This has been an unusual spring. I've found lots of poison ivy and pokeweed growing in the flowerbeds for the first time ever. I pull the poke out by the roots and the poison ivy gets sprayed with homemade weed killer: a gallon of white vinegar, one cup of table salt and one tablespoon of dish soap. It works!
