I did not use my iPhone for the original shot.

I have an Olympus 4/3 camera--The Olympus E-M10 Mark IV. It's not a big camera but it gets great photos.

And my lens for moon photos is my 100-400 mm lens. It's heavy and I use a tripod for image stability and to make it easier on me to get the photos I want.

That is how I do it! I should have mentioned my gear earlier.
