A few photos from my recent trip to the Netherlands

6. I have spent some time in the Netherlands.

The last time I was there was April 2007. That whole country is literally picture-postcard pretty, and these pictures show it. I spent most of one day at the Rijksmuseum, and I spent many hours wandering around the canal streets in Amsterdam. In all of my trips there but one, I stayed in a canal house that I found on a bed-and-breakfast site on the internet that was built in 1602, as I recall. That house itself is a fascinating place. Was your canal picture in Amsterdam? It looks like it was. I would love to visit Amsterdam again, but I'm afraid I'm just too old and frail now to be doing that kind of traveling.
