3. I caught the explanation 2nd time: the children created them

as an army. But, whatever. I don't care about the myths, regardless. I gave up on it making sense in the first few minutes. But how Nickolai and Kit and Peter reacted to their plot points was wonderful.

And Arya's story made it all worth it. Masie's scenes with The Hound, Tyrell, The Faceless Man, and Walter Frey were sublime. When we discovered that she poisoned the whole Frey clan, as revenge for the red wedding, that payoff was incredible. Her solo scenes with the zombies in the basement of the castle were amazing.

I enjoyed watching the girls take down Little Finger, too. Diana Rigg was wonderful. I could have done without all of the Lannisters.

And I liked The Spider. He was so droll.

It was a tremendous palette for some incredible characters. The music grew on me, too.
