to get back to working on my, as yet unpublished, mystery series featuring a management consultant in Portland, Oregon who encounters murder and mayhem in the workplace. The pandemic along with the nightly protests and riots in my sleuth’s neighborhood pose both difficulties and creative opportunities for future installments, and I’m starting to get some ideas, but, like you, I am currently on overload with dark subject matter.
As for ever getting up the nerve to send something to an agent, for now creative writing is simply a cheap hobby - much cheaper than knitting.

Oh, and I have hardly been able to watch any non-news shows since the 2016 election.
