I would like to pretend that the host is doing more than just reading and would have the knowledge to answer many of the questions.

Ken Jennings has the aura of being able to answer questions since he showed his ability. I would think Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer should also get a try.

Jeopardy has that "cut above" quality to it and I would hope the owners understand that.

OTOH it may be fun to see some different talent. Wolf Blitzer maybe?
