because she was asked to insipidly twaddle about the news.

"I'm a professional," she baselessly claimed as she begged her talk show co-hosts not to ask her to do her job.

(I have to admit, I don't know what any of the particulars of this is about. Never watched this show, never saw a tweet, can't really say exactly what the controversy must be. It caught my funny bone, however, to see someone employed at "The Talk" lamenting the idea she'd been asked to talk.)
