In that time slot, I much prefer Colbert (my usual), and Kimmel. Perhaps it has to do with the political jokes, but I find them far funnier than The Tonight Show.

Perhaps it's just a thing with that show. Weren't Johnny Carson & Jay Leno also very Conservative?
