Love on the Spectrum [View all]

Binged this show. Really well done and I thought respectful and compassionate.

Kind of soul nourishing to watch these autistic adults overcome their fears and insecurities in an effort to find someone to live their lives with. What makes it so endearing is we've all felt this type of anxiety when going on a date (blind or not). The honesty of the stars of the show shows the shared humanity of us all.

One of the lead characters, Mark, just grows on you. He's obviously overcome a lot to get to the place he is at in is life. His take on life, of everything being wonderful all of the time at first seems overbearing, but as the show goes on, it's absolutely endearing. He sees the amazing in every experience, he relishes the smells, the sights, and the wonder of everything from birds, to the wind, to a refreshing iced tea. He's become amazingly positive towards his environment, probably as a coping mechanism, but it's really something I wish we had more of in this world.

You find yourself rooting so hard for these amazing people.

5 stars from me.
