DS9 also had the best captain: Benjamin Sisko, played by Avery Brooks.

TOS premiered in 1966; I was 10 years old. I've seen every episode of every Star Trek series. I've seen all the movies.

There hasn't been, IMO, any good Star Trek since Enterprise went off the air in 2005.

This latest version of Star Trek, Strange New Worlds, at times, shows a promise of a return to good story telling, good plots, and just in general, what makes up good Star Trek. Unfortunately, this latest episode, "The Elysian Kingdom", was, IMO, one of the worst episodes I've ever seen in a Star Trek series. I hope SNW hasn't jumped the shark, but, after watching it, I cannot help but think it may have.
