In 1977, I was eight; finding out that the next film was scheduled for release three years out sounded like an eternity. The only SW content we got was the Extended Universe novel "Splinter Of The Mind's Eye", which has not aged well, The SW Holiday Special, which was shit from the word 'go', and some comic books.

Young SW fans nowadays may turn up their noses at "The Book Of Boba Fett", and so on; but they have no idea what it's like to be starved for content and get essentially nothing in return for years.

I love all of the TV series so far, and am looking forward to the new ones.
