and as others have said, Elisabeth Moss is outstanding.
I'll finish watching it. It is so depressing because it's happening for real, right now. The part of the first season which shocked me most was the flashbacks. I'd been thinking "that's not far enough in the future for all that to have happened" then the flashback scenes showed it was indeed possible.
I forget which season, but in one episode a college professor is warned to remove pictures etc of her wife. The day I watched that one, when I sat down at the computer to read the news, one of the prominent headlines on DU was of a school in TX (I think, maybe FL) that was purging gay professors. Coincidence, yes, but the same events in the show were literally happening.
If someone wants to watch tv for entertainment, I completely see why they'd not watch.
But I think it should be mandatory viewing for the entire country. It's not entertainment, it's a warning. Because it's happening right now and we're all gonna endure it whether we watched the fictional show or not.
