He faced imprisonment for being gay. Was that factual? I mean, were/are Ukrainians actually that prejudiced against gays? I hate to think so because that clouds my support for them. If it was simply Hollywood fiction, I’d like to know,

I liked the series so much that I watched it twice. Granted, the first episode was so dramatic and disturbing that I had to step away for a while before continuing on with it.

I enjoyed your synopsis, by the way.
