6. I grew up in The Golden Age of b&w TV

The Rifleman was one of my favorite shows and he was steely and tougher than Gunsmoke, but if one stayed off his Hulk button, he was a good neighbor. A good protective dad to Luke too.

I laid before the small TV and watched with awe at the opening title clip where he strode like a boss down the middle of the street, working the lever on that Winchester like a jack handle at a NASCAR race. Shooting from the hip, bullets sprayed the street in rapid fire and presumable, piled up multiple targets. He didn't need a handgun like the others.

OK.... Um, I read that aloud.
I still liked the show and I mostly turned out OK. haha
