Possible US-Led Attack On Syria Sparks Rally In Little Rock [View all]

http://ualrpublicradio.org/post/possible-us-led-attack-syria-sparks-rally-little-rock

More than two dozen protesters were gathering in downtown Little Rock to speak out against a possible U.S.-led attack on Syria.

Protesters met at the Arkansas Capitol on Saturday. Some carried anti-war signs and wore T-shirts proclaiming, "NO U.S. INTERVENTION IN SYRIA." A few people chanted "No more war."

The event in Little Rock comes as protesters around the world took to the streets to voice opinions about a possible U.S. attack on Syria.

The protests come as President Barack Obama announced Saturday that he will seek congressional approval before launching any military action meant to punish Syria for its alleged use of chemical weapons in an attack that killed hundreds.

short article, no more.

Glad to see some energy in LR.
