8. Would you consider staying in her hospital room with her?

The medical center where I worked built a new hospital a few years ago. All the rooms are private, and all have a bed/couch for someone to stay with the patient. I don't know how many hospitals do that, but it's worth asking.

And calling the hospice or the social worker is a good idea. They may have other ideas for you. Wishing you strength at this difficult time and a peaceful passing for your sister.

BTW, DU has a bereavement group you can check out for support.
