of organized religion: the "organized" part.

Churches across the country could, maybe, interest young people in joining if they did more absolutely *good* things like this. Churches are in a unique position of being accustomed to begging i.e. seeking donation of/for goods and services. Loving your neighbor--really your neighbor, who lives in your city or town or neighborhood--can include helping them clean their clothes, or eat regularly, or have educational support for their children, or provide "shower buses"--the list is endless of things an individual cannot do in a wide swath. But organized, loving people can.
