If they take a worst case tack, namely let the CO decision stand without addressing it nationally, then no blue state should remove stinky.

To do so risks EC votes biden will likely win anyway. The gop would be free to run some super moderate candidate in that state, and our voters could just think it doesn't matter and either not show up or cast a protest vote over something stupid, keeping biden from getting to 270.

Losing ca to stupidity would be the ballgame. The decision needs to be all or nothing.
