The vile fossil fuel companies and industrialists promoting these projects know it.

Certain people will profit. "We the people" will not.

It has nothing to do with "saving the world" and it won't.

In a few decades all these wind turbines will be garbage, just another one of our messes left for future generations to clean up... providing this civilization survives at all.

All in all, promoting these things is just an alternate flavor of climate change denial.
