I'm maintaining that with no high profile statewide candidate running this year i.e.., no U.S. Senate race, then there maybe less voter turnout and a less intense Democratic GOTV effort.

The issue that could help Obama is the statewide pro-Amendment 64 contest that may bring some marginal voters to the polls.

However, I just warn that not all pro-legalization voters will be Obama voters, though I'd bet about 95% will be ... despite the Obama Justice Department's war on medical marijuana clinics.
