3. The last one I went to protested the "kids in cages" and I was pretty impressed with the turnout

It was several hundred protesters - and a handful of MAGAts - and of course they were the ones to start trouble, blasting a megaphone and disrupting traffic. It became enough of an issue that there was discussion of prohibiting protests - and I went to my first one there to protest the impending invasion of Iraq. As for there being out-of-towners, I saw seven people I knew, not counting a local DUer who told me she was there and wished she'd known I was, too...
