'Shocking': Woman dies after being hit by falling tree limb in DC park

1. After our big storm rolled through end of May there have been two incidents

of limbs falling on cars that were driving on fairly major streets. In the first a man was killed, in the second no one injured seriously, but quite a bit of damage to the car.

After that I started looking up, when I could, to see the state of the trees on my usual route to and from work. I saw quite a few patches of brown leaves in otherwise green trees. And the city waste crews are still struggling to pick up all the limbs that actually came down. Going to be a while before they can deal with dead limbs still on trees.
