7. I used to think that the breaking point for pandemic victims,

the point where sanity breaks through and the convalescents, friends, and grieving loved ones pause in their grief and decide that the politicians enabling epidemics to spread should be canned was when maybe ten percent die from the disease. THAT’S A MORTALITY RATE OF TEN PERCENT OF A STATE’S, PROVINCE’S, OR NATION’S TOTAL POPULATION.

What with DeSantis in Florida and Abbott in Texas and their clueless supporters, I’ve come to believe that the rate might be higher: 45 percent or higher until the voters in those states wise up and throw them out.
