To be fair, there is no chance that this tank would spontaneously explode. When they do, it's because they are exposed to extreme heat, like 500+ degrees, for long enough to superheat the gas inside. You could shoot it and there would still be nearly no chance that it would explode unless everything went absolutely perfect to pierce the tank and create a spark at just the right moment to be able to ignite the gas.

I know a lot of people that have one sitting next to their homes and have for decades. I have never heard of one exploding for no reason.
