2. here in the CNMI Guam is thought of as an escape to the big city -

and I must admit when I land at the airport it does kind of feel that way. I guess though the basic atmosphere of the Pacific is somewhat similar.. It's hard to imagine living on the U.S. mainland again. After getting used to a so much more laid back kind of place.
