And Suffolk County has had the nickel bag fee for maybe a year now. Much talk about a statewide fee.

I don't have numbers, but you can go into any grocery store and see many people walking around with their own bags now. It's not so much the nickel as it is people waking up. And just about every store is selling them cheap.

I wish we had more of those cheap mesh bags you see all over Europe.
