14. I left for the Blue State of WI in '87

And, had the same dream of returning to the beauty of the Decorah area to retire. Now WI is a hellscape and Iowa is right there with them. MN, IL, and MI all took enlightened paths. Iowa is aging, isolated, and believes itself to be independent thinking. In fact, they are highly manipulated and provincialized.
