Harreld: University of Iowa must change to remain successful [View all]

The new President of the University of Iowa had something to say;

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The new University of Iowa president says the school must be willing to change what are viewed as its strengths in order to remain successful and competitive.

The Des Moines Register reports that President Bruce Harreld talked during a television interview Tuesday of respecting the university’s institutional culture but also said it must adapt to future challenges and opportunities. He made his remarks for Iowa Public Television’s “Iowa Press” program.

Critics have said the former IBM executive is unqualified for the position, given his lack of university administrative experience.

In other words he needs to do Terry's bidding and fuck up one of the finest schools in the country.
